We are a new boardgame café in Gothenburg and we would like to organize a boardgames event at Gothcon. We can provide a curated library of modern board games—from party games to more complex strategic games. We will be able to teach rules, recommend games, and facilitate pick-up groups.

IBG is an association that organizes meetups with the purpose of helping people make new friends.

At our GothCon event, you can sit down and play board games with people you might not yet know.

To be inclusive, we use English as our primary language at our events. But if everyone at your table is okay with it, you may, of course, speak any language you wish.

We are a board game group from Gothenburg looking to give everyone a good time. We have loads of board games and staff to help you setup and explain the game rules and we will be around to help with any rules questions to keep the game going.

There are loads of games you get pressured into buying at conventions that you could just as well play with a regular deck of cards. In this drop-in activity, you’ll get to learn some of them. Expect some well-known favourites, with a slightly different look.

In addition to the games you may already know, we’ll teach freshly designed card games that only use a standard deck, as well as a few we think most people have missed. You’ll find everything from team games to free-for-alls, co-ops, and solitaires. Come alone or bring a bunch of friends.
If you're extra nice and well-behaved, you might even get to play games that use some more unusual decks.

Hopefully, you’ll leave with one or two new favorites you can play anytime there’s a deck of cards nearby. And there usually is.

This event is part of Materialist Game Labs’ line-up at GothCon. We want to look at gaming culture from a fresh perspective and find ways to make it more fair, welcoming, and accessible—all in the hope that together we can build a living gaming culture rather than just a commercial hobby.

Thom Király is a game designer and game educator based in Malmö. He will act as your guide on this journey through a cheapskate's attempts to use their 52 friends to avoid stuffing their shelves with games that would work just as well with standard cards.

En spelbar och butik som kommer att arrangera tre brädspelsturneringar samt nördquiz.
Det kommer att finnas många spel till utlåning och försäljning.

Kristianstad spelförening bjuder in till en uppsjö av brädpspel i allt från 20 minuters till 6 timmar.
Alla genres och (nästan) alla antal spelare.

Vi kommer finnas på plats för att lära ut i mån av tid på samtliga spel som finns att tillgå.

Vi dukar upp ett gäng varierade brädspel som alla har stort fokus på kort. Drafting, deckbuilding, tablåbygge och annat smått och gott
